Fragrance Window Shopping |Don Mueang Airport | King Power Duty-Free | Watch before you buy!

As soon as I landed in Bangkok, I knew I had to make a stop at Don Muang Airport. It wasn’t because I had a flight to catch, but because I had heard that the airport had some of the best duty-free shopping in the city. I had my sights set on one store in particular: King Power.

Upon arriving, I made a beeline for the King Power store. As I entered, I was immediately struck by the sheer size of the store. It was massive, with rows upon rows of products lining the shelves. From perfumes to cosmetics, electronics to alcohol, there was something for everyone.

I made my way over to the perfume section, where I spent a good hour or so browsing through the different scents and brands on offer. As a self-confessed perfume addict, this was like heaven to me. I couldn’t believe the prices either – they were significantly cheaper than what I would have paid back home.

As I continued to peruse the store, I couldn’t resist picking up a few other items. A new pair of headphones caught my eye, as did a bottle of Thai whiskey that I knew would make the perfect souvenir for a friend back home.

Before I knew it, several hours had passed and it was time for me to head back to my hotel. As I made my way out of the airport, I couldn’t help but feel pleased with my purchases. Not only had I snagged some great deals, but I had also had a fun afternoon exploring one of Bangkok’s top shopping destinations.
